For the construction industry in the UK and worldwide, COVID-19 has compounded the existing systemic issues raised above and has resulted in lowered productivity, delays, and financial loss. The sudden and drastic shifts in the external environment have forced organisations to adapt rapidly and make adjustment to their business operations. Among these adjustments were changes to their project delivery strategy to manage their profits and contain loss in their organisation whilst remaining COVID-19 compliant. How did you define “success” for this case study? What are the principles of project management being applied in this case study? What are the project management principles and how have they influenced the success of the project? b) Then, direct the focus on the principles of project management that needs further improvement in the case study. Investigate which particular stage in the project to reflect on APM Project Life Cycle or ISO 21502. Reflect the project management principles applied in the project and comment on how they could have worked better.
