For this activity, think about the symbol in the book you find the most interesting. Create a small poster for this symbol that includes:
§ Name of the symbol with an illustrative image (can be abstract or concrete)
§ Quotations that refer to this symbol (directly or indirectly) indicating page number and chapter
§ A paragraph explaining why you think this symbol is a part of the book—how does it bring greater meaning to the book?
You can create your poster in a word processing program or power point to upload, or you could create a physical poster that you photograph and upload the picture. Keep in mind the visual appeal of the poster as well as demonstrating your understanding of the symbol.
